Our Verification of Cisco Compatibility certificate from Cisco states that "Cisco Systems, Inc, verifies that Verba Recording System, 2010, a product from Verba Technologies, a member of the Cisco Developer Network, has tested compatible with the Cisco products specified below on 11/08/2010: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, 8.0."

Tested for complex call scenarios, performance and reliablity

The rigorous Cisco IVT testing coveres a huge amount of test scenarios from installation, through configuration, to call handling, performance and large volume recording reliability tests.

To demonstrate the depth of the testing criteria set by Cisco Systems here is a partial list of the verified call scenarios:  

  • Basic calls - Internal, Incoming or Outgoing call between a recorded and a not recorded line.
  • Hold - Call put on hold by the recorded or non-recorded party and then resumed.
  • Forward - Recorded line is forwarded to a recorded or not recorded phone.
  • Park - Recorded line parks the call and other phone (recorder/not recorded) retrieves the call from park.
  • Shared lines - One or multiple calls to/from a recorded shared line.
  • Shared lines and hold - Recorded shared line puts the call on hold and then the other shared line retrieves it.
  • Barge - Recorded or not recorded supervisor barges the recorded call.
  • Transfer - Direct or Consultative transfer to/from a recorded line.
  • Conference - Conference call initiated on a recorded line with or without consultancy.
  • Join - Call join on recorded line and across different lines.
  • Call back - Call back on recorded line.
  • Hunt group - Call from a hunt group to a recorded line.
  • Call pickup - Call pickup and group pickup on a recorded line.
  • Extension mobility - Call to/from a recorded line using extension mobility.
  • Codec support - Audio codec tests using all available codec types.
  • Encryption and Authentication - Encrypted and authenticated call recording.
  • Intercluster extension mobility - Call to/from a recorded line using extension mobility in the visiting cluster.
  • Chaperon - Chaperon based call recording using an external call control server.
  • Mobility - Mobile and recorded line on desktop phone interactions
